By the fifth and sixth month of the first year, the strip is starting to settle into a consistent style, although things are going to get very interesting in the next volume, as I throw my Monday-Saturday black and white and Sunday color rule out the window the following month. Several longer stories are explored in this volume including several ‘variations on a theme’. Blue makes his first appearance (in his original ‘bee costume’) and Halloween and Thanksgiving topics are experimented with.
